Very pale straw coloured pour. The nose is slightly grainy and a little bit fruity. A touch of soft wheat as well. Fairly clean tasting with a bit of light bitterness as well. Some lingering grassiness. Simple and pleasant.

There is a sharpness of grass that I find overpowering. It’s almost metallic and has this grassy aftertaste like I’m drinking a farmers field. Is it made from grass? I just taste grass.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
My Bottom Line:
Clear pale malt character dominates this generic lager’s very mild herbal, citrusy hopping.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam sits atop the clear gold.
-The finish is rather forgettable.
-Drinkability is very high.
-The prickly carbonation adds a mineral tinge.
-This may be generic, but it remains a well-made entry level ale with distinct malt flavors.
On tap at The Saint Tavern, Toronto.

Can. Pours straw yellow, thin white head that does not last long. Aroma is of damp grains, hay. Thin, light body, light grain taste with a prominent herbal hop bitterness. A bit of unexpected funkiness as well.
