341ml bottle. Slightly opaque amber with a nice creamy off white head. Slightly musty resin hops, some semi sweet caramel malts, light hints of citrus. Moderate+ body, moderate carbonation, slightly astringent, quite dry, some grapefruit and mango on the finish along with a touch of alcohol. A decent offering although seems slightly off balance. Encouraging.

Purchased at LCBO, have purchased a 6 pack a few times over the winter this year. Very hoppy, strong taste that stays in your mouth. To strong of a taste for the average drinker, but for the IPA hop heads I think most people would enjoy it.

Unfortunately, I am disappointed to report I am not a fan of this beer. It has a funky flavour, and not in a good way for me. 7.1% alcohol content is a bonus though!

Fairly average stuff. But great by Amsterdam standards. Pours a honey/light orange with just about as much haze as anything else that doesn’t mention that it’s unfiltered. Nose of tropical fruits, lots of piney grassy hops and a bit of alcohol. Flavours are similar and expected. Not sure if it has citra hop in there, but it seems like it. It is in your face then kind of gets a little wishy washy in the finish. Booze is well hidden, until you wake up the next morning.

Reddish cloudy amber pour. Thin head fades quick. Some lace. Grassy dank aroma. Slight poop smell. Medium mouth and slightly astringent. Taste is very bitter. Mostly grassy. This is a palate killer.

bottle. Poured dark amber with quite a bit of sediment, small white head with nice lace. Perfumey hop aroma. Heavy mouthfeel with a lingering astringent finish. Tart grapefruit and grassy flavours, moderately bitter, noticeable alcohol.

Aroma of fresh floral hops, pine, and lettuce. Cloudy amber colour with a minimal head. Medium body that begins with citrus and mild hops, then finishes with a strong bitter hoppy flavour of whole horseradish root. Great beer though a bit overly bitter towards the end.

Cask. En fût, verre de dégustation au Beau’s Oktoberfest 2012 (Vankleek Hill, ONT). Arôme: Légère odeur d’houblons résineux et d’agrumes. Apparence: La couleur est orangée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Gout d’orange avec une pointe de pin. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement onctueuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Présence d’orange en arrière goût. (Rating #4563)

Pours an amber colour with a small white ring around the glass and a lot of suspended solids in the beer. Aromas of malty sweetness and citrus and pine. Flavours are grapefruit citrus, medium bitterness, a little bit of booze mostly hidden by the bitterness and some malty sweetness.

Thanks to cfrancis for this beer. Pours an orangish amber with a small brown top. Aroma is a big burst of citrus, pine, grapefruit & sweet pale malts. Taste is grapefruit and citrus hop bitterness up front with a decent amount of sweet malts on the finish. If the balance of malts to hops was a bit better this might be one of the best.
