3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample at brewery.
Appearance : Amber with a small head.
Aroma : Great malt with light overcooked caramel. Piny hops.
Taste : Great malt with caramel and piny hops.
Overall : Interesting malt. A bit heavy on the malt for an IPA it would seem. A bit too much caramel too. Interesting hops though. Not bad.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: SEP 23, 2011 Tasted at Bier Markt, Toronto on 10 July 2011. Amber-yellow color, strong aroma of hops, light tan spongy head, hoppy taste, medium carbonation, long finish. Good despite all that hops.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I love a hoppy IPA but this ended up a bit too sweet to rank higher. Had on tap at the Winking Judge.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the town crier in toronto.
Hazy orange pour, small beige head. Big thik juicy aoma of citruy hops, and some nice bready malts. Flavor is not too intense, the bitterness is a little muted. Really nice fruity finish with a medium bitterness, i was quite impressed.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Enjoyable, thirst-quenching, and refreshing. Very hoppy with a sweet malty background. Had on tap at Augusta’s Winking Judge in Hamilton. Great to see amsterdam producing not-so-mainstream beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAY 18, 2012 Re-reviewed (3rd review in total)! Still the same pour (Amber, good head). Citrus aroma - Grapefruit, Pine, some sweet malt to balance it out. Taste is all about the Grapefruit - Lovely and bitter, Caramel malt to balance it out. Resiny mouthfeel. This has gone from a 3.2 to a 3.3 to a 3.6 - Each release keeps getting better.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
draught. Amber-orange pour, lots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is lots of piney/citrus hops. Taste is all hops, slightly astringent, long bitter finish. Decent IPA, but could go for more balance. It was a little too one-dimensional for my tastes.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
I tried this beer on March 24, 2011 in tap at "The Town Crier" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy reddish-brown in the glass with a thin ecru coloured cap. The aroma was citrusy hops, pine, and malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was grapefruity hops, and caramel. Very enjoyable beer.
