4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Fantastic ipa. Iíd never heard of it before and ordered it. Great looking bottle, poured surprisingly dark with hints of red. Continuously hopped apparently, wasnít sure how it might stack up to 60/90 minute, but had its own distinct and smooth hoppiness. Would buy this all the time if it was available in Edmonton year round.

One of the best beers Iíve ever had. Local to Toronto Ontario goes well with meat and intelligent discussions.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
355ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit and pine with some light malts. Taste is a light grapefruit and pine hop bitterness with a light fruity and malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with decent carbonation which pleases the palate. A solid IPA that is worth a try.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pouring out a bright golden orange with a big bounty of white head Boneshaker has the generally IPA esque appearance despite a lack of haze or cloudiness. The nose has a big dose of pine and gooey resinous citrus aromas. A mild malty nose with hints of caramel and toasted breads the aroma is hop dominated. The first sip has full on resinous hop sweetness with grapefruit and zesty flavours. Toasted malts and bready notes blend well and help balance the flavour out but are lost quickly with big hops. The finish isnít all that bitter for me but lingers quite well with a sharp and tangy grapefruit along with a moderate smack of resinous hops. A good beer overall if I can say so.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours orange with a thick off white head. Aroma of bitter hops, maybe a little spicy. Flavour of very subtle caramel malts and harsh bitter hops. Medium body with a just barely sticky feeling. Finish over powered by bitterness that rests in the back of the throat.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a deep cloudy copper with a one finger beige head. Aroma is up front pine with but a good background of citrus and caramel. Bitter at beginning middle and end but the malts keep it under control. Alcohol shows up in the long bitter finish. Medium creamy body with slightly soft carbonation. One of my favourite local IPAs.
