4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
The smell of apricot is crazy, as my non-beer geek friend Chris exclaimed. Gold amber dense but short head. Pine apricots big in the nose. Taste similarly with a little perfume and a touch of resin. Little bitter in the aftertaste. Touch sweet. Damn good.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A rich amber colour, with a frothy white head which maintains good retention. Aromas are a nice blend of citrus and piney hops, but definitely leaning more towards the citrus side of the fence. Tastes are very much of citrus hops, with some sweet malts producing a creamy center on the tongue in the middle of the draw. Some pine bitterness on the swallow.
I’ve been pursuing this beer ("Sorry we’re all out") for years, but it was definitely worth the wait, as I found it at The Brother’s Beer Bistro. I’d say this one challenges Boneshaker, for Amsterdam’s IPA crown.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sweet raisin and caramel aroma... A tiny bit "puky". Caramel butter taste, bitter floral hoppy finish. Pretty nice.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled at Barhop. Dirty dark amber with a creamy dark tan head. Malty resiny combination that blend together quite well, lemon and grapefruit comes out a little later, dough. Mild+ carbonation and moderate body, balanced bitterness, not very dry, lots of citrus on the finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355 mL bottle. Pours dark, orange-y amber with a thick head of white foam that leaves a mess of sticky lacing. Sweet, juicy hops on the nose with grapefruit, wax, dank pine resin, mint, candied orange peel and sweet caramel malts. Sweet malts up front with an aggressively bitter finish that reveals a hint of alcohol. Big body and average carbonation, lingers sticky on the palate. Tasty, but I much prefer their single IPA, Boneshaker.

Bottled sample at Ribeye jacks. Long resiny finish us a good way to describe this. Copper color. Citrusy. Great tasting

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Drank on tap (14 oz) at Amsterdam BrewHouse on October 10, 2014. Copper orange, small head. Sweet hoppy citrus aroma, a bit green. Dry green hop taste, not much else, not that bitter. This is so over rated!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle (label mentions citra hops too in addition to the others in the description) in a stem glass. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and resinous and floral hops, some pale and caramel malts, and light dough. Flavor the same with a lot of bitterness to cut through the malts. Average texture. A solid imperial IPA

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap @Amsterdam. Pours crystal clear orange, large off-white head, creamy with nice lacing. Aroma is herbal, spruce, citrus. Flavor is light sweet and medium bitter. Medium body, lots of lingering bitterness. Decent.
