Thanks to Sammy- The clean aroma of tropical fruit and citrus accompanied by hints of pine waft up from a clear dark amber pour with thin non-lasting off-white head. The palate is decidedly hoppy. Pine with hints of tropical fruit terminating in a rewarding bitter resin finish. Overall, although it may be from Canada, it sure helpedcompensate for the heat on a very hot Texas evening.

Intense gold pour and solid body with frothy lacy small cap. Very piney and juicy in the expected aroma and taste, with a definite build of hop dryness on the palate. Some creamy oak impressions. Cat pee cannabis. A bit sharp for the hopheads without going ridiculous, good.

On tap at the Amsterdam Brewhouse, on the Toronto waterfront. Golden amber with a tight cream head; sweet fruity aroma; syrupy texture with a pleasnt grainy body and a herbal bitterness; the finish is long and saitsfying with some warmth.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours a mostly clear deep copper with a two finger off white head that laces well. Nose is candied fruit with grass and pine. Nice sweet malt base with apricot and grapefruit for a good level of bitterness. Mouth is medium slick with a long bitter finish. Nice but I think I still prefer the regular Boneshaker.

On tap at the brewery.Fairly clear brew with a golden to light orange colour. I find the aroma muted but it is citrusy and hoppy. On the palate it proves hoppy enough with a citrus taste and pine cone finish but overall this is made in a lighter style and is a bit of a let down.

355ml bottle from jsprime. Deep orange, off white head. Hop saturation. The aroma is hugely hoppy, it’s lovely. The flavour isn’t quite as good. There is something about amsterdams base malt that I find out putting but this is such a hop bomb that it’s only minimally annoying. Really good stuff.

355 mL bottle from the brewery store, cold in a tulip glass. Hazy deep amber with a thin yellow tan head. Really dank, oily citrus, rich caramel, some booze, tropical fruits, stone fruits, sweet, quite hoppy. Medium+ with moderate effervescence. Big orange peel, tropical fruits, apricot, a bit peppery, resinous, lots of sweet, thick caramel, very rich in all aspects, a little booze; sweet with decent bitterness and a long, sticky caramel, and very fruity hop finish.

355ml bottle from the Brewpub brewed on Mar. 26, 2013. Pours a clear copper/caramel with an off-white, half finger head. Aroma is slightly pungent and herbal/floral with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and resiny pine. Taste is a big bitter with a huge amount of resin and citrus throughout. Slight alcohol mixed in as well. Medium-full body with a low-medium carbonation. Huge resiny texture in the mouth but still drinkable thanks to just the right amount of carbonation.Overall this is a solid brew. Huge aroma and taste. A touch to resiny for it to be my favorite but still very nice. Cheers.
