355ml bottle from jsprime. Deep orange, off white head. Hop saturation. The aroma is hugely hoppy, itís lovely. The flavour isnít quite as good. There is something about amsterdams base malt that I find out putting but this is such a hop bomb that itís only minimally annoying. Really good stuff.

Cask at The Only Cafe. Pale golden pour with a tight white head. The nose is bright and juicy. Loads of fresh pine and citrus along with some juicy/citrusy hops and a bit of tropical fruit. Rich and resiny with a lot of bright citrus and grapefruit. Resiny and juicy with some nice sticky malts. Goddamn - this is amazing.

A rich amber colour, with a frothy white head which maintains good retention. Aromas are a nice blend of citrus and piney hops, but definitely leaning more towards the citrus side of the fence. Tastes are very much of citrus hops, with some sweet malts producing a creamy center on the tongue in the middle of the draw. Some pine bitterness on the swallow. Iíve been pursuing this beer ("Sorry weíre all out") for years, but it was definitely worth the wait, as I found it at The Brotherís Beer Bistro. Iíd say this one challenges Boneshaker, for Amsterdamís IPA crown.

355 ml bottle from brewery. Pours a clear orangey amber with modest-sized but lasting off-white head. Aroma just bursts out of the bottle after the top is removed with big juicy citrus and resiny hops, as well as a gentle caramel maltiness. Flavour is juicy grapefruity and mango hops, some resiny piney hops as well as doughy caramel malt in the background. Medium-full body. Dangerously easy-drinking for the ABV. A real winner.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours a copper red color with just a hint of white head. Smell is really awesome and fairly strong. Sweet fruit like a pineapple and passion fruit plus a hint of trees. Palate is medium bodied with good carbonation. Taste is quite bitter at the beginning and end but a bit of a sweet interlude. Quite tasty, wish I had much more of this.

At the brew pub. Brownish gold pour, thin foam tan head. Aroma is grapefruit, resin, slightly woody malt. Clean medium palette is full of grapefruit and orange rind. Bitterness and alcohol blend nicely with chewy sweetness. Long bitter finish. Very balanced and complex. Great IIPA.

Tap at the ship, pours kind murky brown, aroma was piney and flavour was strong in the way of pine but it was really nice for the style and i really quite enjoyed this one

The smell of apricot is crazy, as my non-beer geek friend Chris exclaimed. Gold amber dense but short head. Pine apricots big in the nose. Taste similarly with a little perfume and a touch of resin. Little bitter in the aftertaste. Touch sweet. Damn good.

Bottle from the brewery. Clear and bright amber-gold with a small but persistent white head. Deep, dank aroma of hops - orange marmalade and forest floor - luscious! Flavour is big and brash, but balanced as well, with enough caramel malt (with an interesting hint of marzipan) to stand up to the sharp pine and grapefruit hops that come on strong and linger for ages. The finish is pleasantly warm, with a hint of black currant. Excellent.

On draught at Bar Hop. Amber tinged gold, clear, solid creamy lasting beige head. So nice, that aroma - alcohol, juicy malt, tropical fruit, light resin, maybe a little oak tannin? Taste follows, juicy, mango and blood orange zest, alcohol, marigold overtones. Average body, quite astringent, light carbonation, a long dry, coating grapefruit finish. Bloody good, one of the best I have had in Ontario, big but restrained.
