3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice red color, nice little rosy head. Aroma is definitely raspberry, but it does smell artificial also. Flavour is more of the same, that artificial raspberry, and wow, is this ever sweet, its like syrup. Nope, way too sweet, and cloying for me.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
13-Nov-13 (341-ml bottle: Obtained 17-Jul-06 in trade with HogTownHarry, thanks Harry!)
Found this beer in an unmarked box, and at seven years of age for a fruit beer, it would be a dumper not to be rated except for one thing: this beer has a good amount of acidity that has kept this beer alive. Amazingly, the raspberry fruit is still going strong, lots of big berry flavor with light fruity sweetness, but a good amount of tartness as well, just like when eating fresh raspberries. I think if this beer were only lightly fruity to begin with, that aspect would have faded by now, but it’s SOOOO fruity, it’s still very prominent to the point that the base beer is hard to pick out. Same with the nose, as the fruit is extremely aromatic with sweet/tart raspberry, although it’s more like raspberry jam than fresh raspberries at this point. The beer is medium in weight, medium-high in carbonation, and mildly acidic from entry to finish. The color is a deep red-amber, clarity is good, and the off-white head pours to over half an inch before settling to a ring. Overall, I’m very impressed with how well this beer has held up. It’s not only drinkable, but enjoyable too.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bright red, clear with 1 finger pink-beige head that quickly subsides leaving thin lacing. Aroma is raspberries, so is the taste, but a bit more grain character is evident in the mouth. Nice refreshing tartness, but nothing too exciting.

pours hazy, almost cloudy red with a off-white-reddish rocky head, good retention and lacing. fresh raspberries, grassy, boozy, mineral - bit of metal too, toasted and grainy almost spicy malts, hint of sweetness. lively carbonation, light body - oily, bittering green and grassy assertive finish. ok.
