Bottle from the brewery. Pours a clear red with a bit of pinkish head that dissipates somewhat quickly. Smell is lots of raspberry, both tart and sweet aspects, and also a hint of floral hops. Palate is lighter bodied with good carbonation and a nice lightening to it as it lingers. Taste is all raspberry with some sweetness at first and some funky sour tartness in the aftertaste. A nice raspberry beer that’s not too overwhelming, though could use a slightly more complex taste.

A little bitter with the fruit, sour berry tang as well. Actually pretty good, especially for an Amsterdam. Was pleasantly surprised. Good hazy color, good carbonation. Pretty hammed by the time I tried this one...on tap at volos

Reddish orange with a white head. Aroma is sour fruit, almost sour hard candy. Slick and medium body. Sour with a lasting finish. Almost synthetic. This is pretty one dimensional. Could use some balanced malt influence.

Strong slightly sour berry aroma. Ruby red mixed with brown. Kinda gorgeous. Fruit only in the dry aftertaste... very tart. Spoiled dirty musty aftertaste is very delicious for any wild ale fan. Would drink again! Not as pungent as a Belgian lambic but damn good.

Bottle in Toronto. Pours ruby red, which is great. Good frothy head as well. Tastes and smells pretty much of red raspberries...which is great, but all it needs is some serious funk and we’d be talking.

Draught at Bar Volo. Pours a slight reddish, OK head and lace. Aroma is sweet and the taste was also sweet and of berries without a doubt. A little sweet for my liking.

341 mL bottle from the LCBO, served in a lager glass. Pours clear reddish-pink with a tall pink frothy head. The head slowly fades to a bare cover but leaves a moderate amount of loose lace. The nose has notes of raspberry, grain and a hint of hops. The flavour is tart and somewhat acidic, with a hoppy bitterness that grows towards the finish. The finish is moderate in length and somewhat sour with a hint of hops. On the palate, it is light in body with a smooth, watery texture and average carbonation. Overall, this is quite one-dimensional; it is all about the raspberries. A little sour for my taste, but palatable. 2010-12-14

Long forgotten 341ml bottle thanks to cfrancis (if memory serves)
Appearance : Shiny ruby red with medium fizzy head. Light lacing.
Aroma : Raspberries with light adjunct and grain.
Taste : Raspberries with light veggy hoppy finish. Rather dry. Finish has enjoyable notes of raspberries.
Overall : Not too bad. Enjoyable raspberries taste but with some cheap stuff all around it. It gets better with time. The light off-flavours fades away leaving room to raspberries. I really think that raspberry beer need to be brewed with fruity American hops (like Brasseur du Temps Framboyante).
