341ml bottle - pours deep red/auburn with a very quickly dissipating pink head. Looks like juice after a while, with no head at lacing whatsoever. Smells like tart raspberries and some nutty malt in the background. Tastes...just like raspberries. It’s nice, but I don’t think of beer when I drink this. Not cloying, not overly sweet, obviously not artificial - all pluses. Finishes with some sourness and a slight bitterness. Quite dry. After taste of malt, but faint. Certainly no raspberry lambic, but decent overall, even if not something I’d regularly want to drink.

[342-20070617] 341mL (w/ tuqueboy). Raspberry malt aroma. Clear, amber brown body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Tastes like raspberry juice. Medium body is smooth. Very nice tasty fruit!

Ceramic Bottle. The minute we open this it gushes like a ffountain all over the floor. Deep red in color with a little pink head. Rasberry fruity sweet aroma. Tart. Rasberry flavor. Very sweet tasting. Finish is fruity. Medium bodied. Decent beer.

On tap at volo. Deep red colour with small head. Taste and aroma of raspberries. Very carbonated, almost like a raspberry pop. goes down easy on a hot day. not bad for what it is

Deep, red colour. Pours with a soapy head. Pretty carbonated and tastes more of the tartness of raspberries than actual raspberries. This is from the 2007 batch in clear bottles.

just not right. apparently it is made with real raspberries, but i find the KLB raspberry beer to taste better. i can taste the raspberries but it just doesnt work for me. colour is an amazing deep red. artificial feeling carbonation kills it though.

Nce red color, nice little rosy head. Aroma is definitely raspberry, but it does smell artificial also. Flavour is more of the same, that artificial raspberry, and wow, is this ever sweet, its like syrup. Nope, way too sweet, and cloying for me.

one of my fav Amsterdam beers. definate Rasberry nose. Dark red color slightly hazy, some tartness but the sweet aspects take over, a bit too sweet for me but better then most.

This is the second worst Amsterdam beer I’ve tried. If you want a raspberry beer, try a belgian lambic. Pours a kool-aid red with little head. The beer smells overly of raspberry, not much else. The taste if very sweet and is very syrupy, not very beer-like. If you like raspberry syrup, drink this beer! Otherwise this is one to avoid.

Bottle: Pink infused caramel, moderate frothy light pink head, shoddy lacing.   Raspberry seed nose, slightly artificial.   Spritzy in the mouth, very carbonated, with a dry bitter artifical raspberry seed like flavor.   *BURP*   Reminds me of the Unibroue Framboise but with a little more flavor, and a bit drier.   Moderate body, very spritzy mouthfeel.   Finishes with a tart raspberry seed like bitterness.   Not bad, but seems too fake to really enjoy.   Thanks jerc for the bottle!
