3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap at Brydens. Amber-coloured pour. The nose is softly sweet with a bit of earthy/herbal hop aroma. There are some light fusels that could stand to be cleaned up. A touch of spice and also some lingering herbal hop flavour.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Draught at Bryden’s, Toronto ON, June 24th 2013) Pours a very dark amber to pale brown with a bubbly white head, faded quickly without lace. Aroma is slightly sweet malts, earth, some noble hops, not particularly punchy. Flavour follows the nose, some sweet but simple malt is dried by herbal hops, lightly spiced but low flavour concentration overall. Hops more pronounced at the finish, fairly dry but only lightly bitter. Body light, carb fairly high and prickly, no booze. Rather simple and drinkable but not interesting, poured by mistake but worth a try I suppose.
