2011-10-30. Very dark brown body with a smooth creamy tan head. 3+ Dusty toasty roast malt, hints of cocoa. 7+ Flavour is sweet malt with just a bit of maple, very light toasty roast malt in the finish, has a kiss of an Ovaltine like character. Very small average plus palate has very soft carbonation. 3+ Bit sweet overall, you would need to be in the mood for it, but I quite liked this one. Cask Days 2011, Toronto

A dark brown porter with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet maple fudge with Nutella, soy sauce, very nice. In mouth, a smooth sweet maple malt with light peaty notes, roasted coffee, scotch alcohol. Cask at Beaus’s Oktoberfest, Oct. 1 2011.
