wilkie (1092), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Jul 20, 2003 Smells like typical imported pilsener beer. I would definitely not classify this as an american standard, it is some kind of pilsener style. Bitter flavor without the crisp finish which is typical of the style. Watery at the end. Has stale tastes, but so do many of the style.
Lalli (58), Helsinki, Finland Oct 8, 2008 0,33 l can. Not a very good beer - actually a pretty poor one. As a Finn I´m used to boring lagers, but this one lacks both malts and hops in the flavor. To be frank, there is not much flavor at all. Dedollewaitor (2165), Odense, Denmark Sep 6, 2008 33cl can: Thanks to Mette. Pours pale piss yellow with a small white foam. Quite watery. Notes of hay & grain! No off flavours. A typical foreign pale lager! FatPhil (2362), Espoo, Finland Aug 30, 2008 500ml bottle.
Rich gold, scummy film head. Nondescript dusty aroma. Something else, not sure what, but it’s not good. Bletch! Watery and acrid palate. Fair amount of something like weetabix in the taste - raw unsophisticated dry grains and husks. (Don’t get me wrong, I often like huskiness, and weetabix tastes, but this has it all wrong.) Chemical hops, yeuch, and also plain white flour. Fortunately it’s pretty weak, so the minor nastiness isn’t going to kill as I finish the can. I think that’s probably because the metallic harsh hops are quite drying, and making me thirsty. Skidds (186), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 10, 2008 I have always credited the Netherlands as being very competent brewers who make quite good beer. This however was one of the worst beers I’ve ever had. It reminded me of some cheap 1$ a beer beer from North America. Watery and Tasteless. nelsonibarruri (51), Uruguay Jul 26, 2008 Lata. Otra cerveza para tomar cuando no hay otra. Ni buena ni mala. Es cerveza.
