1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Canned. Light copper colour. Quickly diminishing head. Sweet, biscuity aroma with a little maltiness. Cloyingly sweet with little maltiness. Besides the sugar flavour, it´s quite bland. Alcohol is not very noticeable. Crap!

Over here we have a headache tablet called Panadeine Forte. This one therefore has some affiliation with said medication because it gives youa headache. Sort of homeopathic I suppose in that like cures like.

I don’t like malt liquors, but for a malt liquor, this is one of the better ones. However, it’s still crap and a disgrace for beer.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2010 Oct, 2004 Green can from Carrefour, France. A session beer for those whose taste buds have been saturated by American big beers. Big taste. [1.7]
Dec, 2010 Can from corner shop. Paris. A sweet and chewy strong lager. Very smooth and drinkable for the strength. After all these years I’m still amazed that strong lager doesn’t seem to have the same inebriation factor as strong ale. A pint of 11.6% ale is fairly intoxicating, while a lager is just refreshing. Anyway - I enjoyed this - fairly clean and tasty. [2.5]
