[4616-20120714) Tap. Soapy floral cardboard aroma. Slightly hazy, bright yellow orange body with a long-lasting creamy white head and thick lacing. Grainy soapy yeast flavour is lightly sweet. Medium body. Tasty, nice for the patio. (7/4/7/4/14) 3.6

Wheaty golden and lightly cloudy with sm white head. Taste begins roundly wheaty-fruit and some dryness enters, grassy herbal hops and some light minerals and funky phenols. hints of lemon, and vanilla, not amazing as all that may sound but its pretty solid.

Pours light gold with bright white head and aroma and appearance make it seem like a light Belgian wit beer. There are fruity notes up front, but it finishes with something different, some biscuity caramel notes that blend very well. On tap from both Cest What and Bar Hop.

July 22, 2012 - on draught at Bar Hop (and twice more over the next week). Looks like a hefe - very cloudy light yellow-gold with a solid lasting creamy mottled white/off-white head. Smells and tastes like a solid witbier, only a little fruitier with a surprising amount of background grassy bitterness. Chewy, malty, hint of lemon tartness, decent carbonation, finishes dry and fruity (apple) with some floral bitterness and lemon zest in the linger - very refreshing.

Pint at Loon. Hazy golden, thin white head. Lightly lemony, wheat and yeast character, light esters, a touch of barf, so-so. Medium body, soft eff, silky. Light wheat and esters, a touch of citrus; dry with no bitterness to speak of and a lightly wheaty, estery finish. Not much thunder.

Hazy straw pour. Yeast. Grassy. Earthy and cheese. Medium mouthfeel. A little sour on the finish. Ok. I’m mostly impressed by the fact they served this at the indy.

On tap at the Only. Pours a lightly cloudy golden yellow with fairly large white head. Aroma is moderate Belgian yeast, caramel and light citrus. Flavour is banana, lemon, spice, caramel and modest hops. Modestly bitter finish. Fine, fairly active carbonation. Nice.

On tap at Barhop. Lacey, dark yellow bodied ale, with funky not offensive aroma. Smooth mouthfeel, some similar yeast is making its rounds. Some spice. Decent drinkability, particular for the summer, though not something I would take out of my fridge every night.

Draught at Volo. Pours a cloudy orange-amber with an average size lasting frothy off-white head. Decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is yeasty and fruity along with bready malt and grain. Flavour of bready malt, caramel, yeast, fruit, very light spices and a light bitter finish. Average bodied. I didn’t get the hops that the other raters did but regardless, this is pretty good. -- Rated via Beer Buddy.
