daniel0017 (231), Ontario, Canada Sep 19, 2007 500mL bottle: Golden yellow corn body is slightly carbonated with little to no head. Aroma of stale corn and slight hops. Crisp light flavor, as lager should be. Malt flavor is ever present but not truly satisfying. There is a definite corn presence and a sweet tartness that doesn’t quite work out well. Smooth finish. This beer doesn’t cry out "Drink Me". It deserves a passing grade, no more. Seeing as it is a blonde Lager, in form, it deserves to be noted that it achieves its namesake and deserves high praise. To my personal liking however... Not my style.
gilvanblight (322), Windsor, Ontario, Canada Jul 20, 2008 Had in the guise of Madison Blonde at the Madison Inn. Typical straw yellow pour, half inch of nice thick head. Weak scent. Easy to drink with some nice flavours. Some flower, a touch of sweet. Actually a rather nice summer beer. This one suprised me. Boutip (1725), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Jul 7, 2008 Bottle: Poured a clear golden color lager with a big pure white foamy head with medium retention and no lacing. Aroma if quite refreshing with a light sweet malt profile. Taste is also quite one-dimensional with some medium sweet malt and very subtle floral notes. This beer was as easily drinkable as it is easily forgettable. Ramenen (308), San Salvador, El Salvador May 19, 2008 Thanks to rsamayoa. Bottle. Drank it at El Flor. Pours a very pale yellow with a small white head. Light bodied, a bit metallic and skunky. rsamayoa (19), San Salvador, El Salvador May 18, 2008 RateBeerians Tasting - Beach Brews. Bottle: Great looking bottle, slight citrus taste, light bodied a good choice for the beach. ghawener (642), San Salvador, El Salvador May 18, 2008 RateBeerians Tasting - Beach Brews.
