2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 DeanF (1537) - Iqaluit, Nunavut, - JUL 3, 2009Pours very frothy with a big nice white head. Not much aroma. Taste is of hops, malts, and a hint of alcohol. Easier to drink than their caramel-liquor maximator, but still not much to recommend here.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Kita (422) - Koper, SLOVENIA - APR 7, 2013
Canned, 0.50l. Clear golden color with large frothy beige head and average visible carbonation. Aroma of sweet malt, dark fruits and vanilla. Taste starts with sweet and rich malt, then followed by sweet fruity and strong alohol notes. Mouthfeel is mouth-coating, finish is mild bitter, while aftertaste is mainly sweet and spicy. Medium body, sticky texture and soft carbonation in palate. It’s a sweetie, but I kinda liked it...

After starting this beer (50cl bottle in Astana KZ airport bar), I was surprised to read all the negative comments. Both the aroma and flavour had a rich bready flavour; a very malty beer, but certainly not cloyingly sweet. There were sufficient hops and alcohol dryness to keep this beer in the pleasantly drinkable range. I didn’t get the strong carbonation that some people referred to; mine was less than moderately carbonated, but very smooth. The thin white head persisted throughout the drink and left nice lacing on the glass. The colour was pure gold and brilliantly clear. I really enjoyed this beer; very fresh and tasty.
1.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 tseo (134) - Athens, GREECE - NOV 26, 2012
Aroma: Hay, sweet corn, bread, alcohol, minerals, candy. Not bad.
Mouthfeel: Very fizzy.
Taste: Sweet and alcoholic, but offensively so. No balancing bitterness that I can feel. Some apple fruitiness, too. Seriously unbalanced (No bitterness, no tartness).
Finish: Sweet and alcoholic.
Overall: I absolutely hate it. Didn’t even finish this one. Maybe with a ton oh hops it could make a fine brew.

Don’t know shit about beer. All I know is I’m locked up in a country where it is very difficult to find weed, which is what I actually like, and Amsterdam Navigator gives me a very satisfying consolation. I don’t know what they put in it and I couldn’t care less about the taste, but it gets me high in a very nice way, reminiscent of cannabis. Cannabis is better, but this is as good as I imagine a beer could possibly get.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 stevoj (913) - Ramstein-Miesenbach, GERMANY - OCT 25, 2012
Aroma is sour and musty. Pours wth a nice, thick velvety head (but then again, so does pee from time to time). Flavor is licorice (not in a good way) and cough syrup. This is beer made for getting drunk, if you can get it down.

(Can). Aroma and taste of sweet malt, figs and alcohol. Not particularly good, the alcohol is too intrusive, but for being a beer of this type (Strong Pale Lager) is actually drinkable.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 jaghana (2821) - Strasbourg (France), FRANCE - SEP 19, 2012
Can 50cl, a golden copper beer with medium head. Nose is on over riped fruit touch and sweet like. Aroma is on corn sugar, fruit like apple, caramel and metallic touch, quite alcoholic, drinkable but no more.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Cunningham (2972) - Halden, NORWAY - AUG 21, 2012
Golden colour with a white topp. Fruity and alcohol aroma. Mostly sweet caramel malt flavour with some fruity and alcohol notes. Absolutely not the worst Imperial pils. One of a few I could drink again. [Can from C1000 Nicolai in Egmond Aan Zee, Netherlands]
