A Belgian wit that’s spiced with bitter and sweet orange, coriander and tiny bit of anise.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours hazy straw with small white head. Mild aroma of grain and herbs, with light fruity notes. Mild, sweetish, estery, malty and fruity flavour. Notes of hops and coriander. Rough and estery aftertaste with mild peppery notes. Okay but nothing very impressive.

Can from the LCBO. A good down the middle weiss, tasty and well made. The "orange is not overly apparent , but it is there I prefer to drink local beer so good to have this one back for summer

ENG: 473ml can from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg, poured into the Teku glass. Yellow, opalescent color with small, white head. Aromas of wheat, cloves and coriander with subtle orange notes. Tastes mostly wheaty, and again coriander notes too. Quite uniform flavor, nothing popping out too much. Clovy/coriander aftertaste. Low to medium carbonation, low to medium body. Overall quite refreshing summer beer, nothing special, just an easy-drinking wheat brew for hot days (but personally for this purpose I would pick up some good Pilsener instead).

PL: Puszka 473ml kupiona w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg, przelana do Teku. Niskie do średniego nasycenie, niskie do średniego odczucie w ustach. Podsumowując nieźle orzeźwiające letnie piwo, jednak bez szału - po prostu dobre piwo (choć osobiście na lato w celu ukojenia pragnienia wybrał bym pewnie jakiegoś dobrego Pilsnera).

pours a hazy yellow with thin white head. minimal aroma although some sour citrus. flavours of sweet orange with citrus peel in the finish. very light mouthfeel. decent session beer, but nothing particularly special about this other than the fancy bottle.

473ml can. Hazy blonde with a foamy white head. Flavors are wheat, bread, honey, coriander and orange with floral notes. Light body, moderate carbonation, watery texture.

Last review from last fall. The orange bottle is not going to sneak up on you. Coriander, wheat and orange but not as balanced and complex as the best of the style.

I did lay bottle on its side and rolled it around a bit, as directed. Once complete, poured into glass and yeast was still a bit visible while pouring. Pretty neat. Ended up with a hazy yellowy/orange colour, no head whatsoever. Pretty good lacing. This one had a thicker mouthfeel than most other ’weisse’ I’ve tried before. Got a few citrus like flavours in taste. Overall, not too bad.

Not ill to speak really but nothing salient about this either. I suppose the fact that it is geared towards summer drinking and that is it not terribly tongue provoking go hand in hand. It’s a very refreshing, clean and clear light yellow, white head in tow. Wheat, light citrus, cereal and yeast clamour for nasal attention with wheat winning. I was hoping for more effervescence from this ol’ gal, a bit too thin and watery for my tastes as well. Meh. Better than a lot of summery swill.

Not splendid, but also not offensive. Pours a hazy straw with a small white head. Aroma is of orange, wheat, and coriander. Tastes of wheat, oranges, and spice. Has a medium body with average carbonation with a lingering orange aftertaste that is smooth and refreshing. Forgettable, but I could drink it again.
