3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle LCBO, pours very cloudy opaque, small lingering white head. Aroma is faint hint of orange peel not very noticeable though as I thought before buying it would be, this is on par with other wheat beers. It is a little more bitter than Hoegarrden but very similar overall to that. sort of a small bitter finish. Overall not bad.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle. If it werenít for the orange bottle and "oranje" claim, this would be a decent wit. Nice wheat malt and mild spices. But the orange flavour is bared noticeable, not sure if I was imagining it. Overall, deceptive marketing leads to disappointment.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Orange and wheat aroma. Gold colour pour with white head. very light flavours, some orange, corriander and a hint of hops in the finish. Too weak to be anything great, I expected more.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Almost clear straw yellow pour with minimal white head. The nose is dominantly coriander and wheat with a light orange note and a wisp of anise. As it warms the orange becomes a little more prevalent. Pretty messy on the palate. Thereís a good dose of wheat and coriander again with some orange notes but these elements do not come together well. A little different for a summer fruit beer but ultimately it falls flat.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Yellow gold hazy pour with a half fingers worth of fine white head that fizzes away to a patchy layer of pinhead bubbles. Aroma of citrus, orange, coriander. fairly mild overall though. Taste is cereal malts until some orange shows up midway through which ends up lingering slightly. Light body with lower carbonation. The bottle is more than the beer.

Pours a pale yellow/orange colour with a pretty thick white head. Nice zesty orange aroma along with some hints of wheat and spice. Flavour is very orange and wheaty, with some light spice notes. Pretty solid summer beer

Pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Nose of orange, citrus, coriander and soap. Watery light body, citrus flavor. Below average, disapointed.

Not what I was hoping for when iím looking to enjoy a belgian witbier. I found the orange somewhat overpowering, and not in a pleasaent way (almost like biting into a peel and chewing). Color was nice though, aroma was light and fragrant as well. A little over carbonated tasting as well. Overall, not something I would purchase again.

Not a great witbier, but passable. Didnít get a lot of orange (or anise) from this. Pretty subtle. Sweet wheat is present but even that is not packing a punch. Stick with Hoegaarden.
