Meh a wattery wheat beer with a tart artificial berry/pomegranate flavoring. It was decent and I can see it being a great summertime ice cold beer but other than that it’s pretty forgetable.

500ml bottle
4.5% ABV
I tried this beer on August 18, 2009 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent golden red with a thin tan coloured head. The aroma was sweet malt and light fruits, although it was more apricot like than pomegranate. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt with a tang. A bit over the top flavour wise as it was more of a zing than anything.

Mediocre review. Wasn’t bad, just not my style. I’ve yet to find a "fruit beer" that blends the fruit flavour with the wheat beer properly. Nice texture, decent aroma.

500ml bottle, clean amber color, with an off-white head, fruity, fieldberry, mainly blackberry, light pomegranate nose, with a faint honeyed pale, wheaty malt note, and a hint of herbal floral hop in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp honeyed wheat, pale malt, artificial fruity character of candyish pomegranates, berries, with a kind of medicinal, Pepto-Bismol syrup flavor, leading towards a mild acidic fruity, medicinal finish.

500 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Slightly pinkish amber, clear, small off-white head. Aroma: Strong fake berries, like candy, light grass/hay/cereal expected in a wheat beer. Palate: Medium body and carbonation. Flav.: Similar to the nose, lots of kinda synthetic berry/fruit, a touch of spice, a little malt; lightly sweet with basically no bitterness and a mineral finish.

Wasn’t expecting much and that’s about what I got!

From LCBO (Toronto, ON). Pours a generally clear amber color with resddish highlights and thin white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with notes of malt, caramel, ripe fresh fruit, some floral esters. Flavor is sweet and fruity with notes of ripe fruit, honey, caramel, wheat, some hints of grass and floral hops. Generally light to medium body with a slightly funky finish.

Bottle shared from the LCBO. Dark golden pour with a diminishing head and noticeable carbonation. Sweet aroma with pomegranate, bread dough and yeast. Flavour comprised of honeydew, bread and pomegranate. Not as prominent in the fruit as I expected. Decent brew.

500ml bottle from LCBO. Clear red pour some head. Aroma is intense, storng tang and tart smell, raspberry, mixed dark berries, pomegranate and wheat. the taste is the opposite, this is a weak flavor, artifical and bland. Tart, yes but not in a good way. Did not like much.
