American wheat style beer with a jumble of berry and frut flavors I cannot place. It’s like fruit herbal tea or gum, perhaps JuicyFruit. It IS similar to an alco-pop, and may be marketed to this demog. Anyway, this does taste like a beer, there are some hops adding a little bite, but the slickly artificial fruitiness kind of kills it for me. I do say go buy the Framboise though... jerc, sorry but "ambibalent" does not mean blasé or indifferent... it means having strongly contradictory feelings, such as really liking and yet hating something.

Bottle. Pours amber with a medium sized, fast dying head with large bubbles. The aroma has lots of pomegranate with plenty of other fruit, raspberry, apple, sugar. The flavour is surprisingly bitter with more pomegranate, raspberry, water.

Bottle: Poured a deep golden color ale with a good size foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of lightly sweet malt with some light fruity notes as well. Taste is also a mix between some light sweet malt (couldn’t detect any wheat in there though) with some light fruit syrup added to the mix. I would be really surprise if there was any pomegranate in there; it is more likely that some syrup was use.

Very strong aroma that smells like sweet tart candies. Pours clear orange/amber with a foamy off-white head last does not last. Very dry, tasted nothing like it smelled. It burnt the back of my throat. I don’t know if the bottle I had expired. It looked and smelt great but I didn’t rate these areas because I couldn’t even finish the bottle.

My wife really likes this one. I on the other hand do not. Smells like peach tastes like what I imagine guest soaps taste like and has a bland dry finish.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clearish copper with slightly off-white head. Aroma fairly strong, though pleasant, of pomegranate. Flavour likewise prominently features pomegranate, but with hint of wheat. Pomegranate not too sweet, more tart in the finish. Light body. A bit one note perhaps, but it’s a decent note and makes for a decent summer beer.

Bottle from LCBO. Pours a burnished copper color, slightly hazed with a reddish tinge. Decent cap fair lacing. Lively carbonation Funky sweet fruit aroma and musty earthy notes. Light body, dry wheat biscuit flavor light woody hopping with a persistent pomegranate flavor that stays through to the dry tart finish. A light fruity spritzy-dry summer wheat beer in the commercial vein. No real flaws just not memorable enough to stand out.
