Appearance: Clean , bright amber brew with medium plus top. Decent lacing oproduced.4-
Nose : Strong and aromatic, candy sugars flavored with pomms. To sweet for my taste. 5-
Flavor/Palate : Watery thin , mineral underscore , light fruity feel. Flavour itself seems true but beer its self was lacking fuller experience and satisfaction.

Draught. At C’est What. Hazy amber with a small white head. Sugary aroma, mostly just heavy, unpleasant pomegranate. The taste isn’t exactly bad, but it’s more like sticky koolaid than beer - a heavy fruit wine cooler. Thick, sweet body, papery in the finish, a tad overripe .... not all that pleasant, the aroma particularly was over the top.

2005-05-23. Yellow bodied with a small off white head. Huge fruity pomegranate aroma. Similar fruit character in the flavour, but much more muted there. Lightly tart in the finish. (6+) Average palate. Decent mainstream fruit beer I guess but leaves me ambivalent. On tap at C’est What

Draught at C’est What. Pours a clear bubbly orange with an average size semi-lasting creamy white head. Aroma is big-time pomegranate, a little sugary sweet, maybe a tad artificial. It doesn’t smell like beer it’s all sugary fruit. Flavour of grain, light hops, light fruit and a finish that I found a little iffy, not sure why. It’s much more balanced then the aroma but it’s still a touch too sweet for my liking. Average bodied. Not bad, like I said, the aroma is too much, too much pomegranate and too fake but the flavour’s decent.

Peach nose, hint of wheat, tiny white head. Flavour of Trident mixed fruit gum. Light bodied, creamy, easy drinking. Fair.

[1379-20080523] Tap. Light fruity cherry cough syrup aroma. Clear, light brown orange body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Flavour is mostly fruity sweet pomegranate with notes of apricot and wheat. Medium body has a bit of a tang. Refreshing, good to try.

Draught sample at C’est What Spring 2008 Festival of Small Breweries. Orange with a small white head and lots (I mean LOTS) of little bubbles. Aroma has a hell of a lot of pomegranate, but more like pomegranate candy than the real thing. Body is thin, but crisp from the bubbles. Flavour of fruit candy - no, gum - damn, it tastes like Juicy Fruit! I sort of enjoyed this in a small sample, but more than that would be way too much for me, it’s just too frickin’ sweet.

Bottle: Poured a deep golden color ale with a good size foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of lightly sweet malt with some light fruity notes as well. Taste is also a mix between some light sweet malt (couldn’t detect any wheat in there though) with some light fruit syrup added to the mix. I would be really surprise if there was any pomegranate in there; it is more likely that some syrup was use.
