A collaborative brew with Peter Tassone (owner of Utopia Cafe & Grill) and Amsterdam Brewery. A classic Wit using premium applewood floor malted pilsner malt from Germany. Tellicherry peppercorns and coriander - all smoked on site at the cafe. Light gold in colour with a medium haze. Soft spice of pepper on the palate and a delicate carbonation make way to a fruity and subtle smokiness on the finish of this truly unique Adventure Brew.

Bottle from the brewery. Slightly turbid golden body with a small white head. Aroma has some typical wit characteristics - soft yeast, some citrus and tropical fruitiness, coriander - along with mild pepper and subtle smoke. Flavour is more atypical, with tropical fruit (pineapple and papaya) playing a fairly big role, a bit of yeast around the edges, and hints of pepper and smoke in the back of the throat. I would’ve liked a bit more smokiness, but other than that, it’s quite a nice brew.
