On tap at smokeless joe’s. Pours a dark opaque black with nearly no head. Smell is a bit of brown sugar and something smokey. Palate is light bodied and has moderate carbonation. Taste is slightly sweet with a hint of bitterness, that lingers with a bit more bitterness.

[4159-20111125] Tap. Sweet honeyed scotch aroma with some wet malt grain. Clear, dark red body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Malt grain brewery floor flavour has a lot of grainy punch up front with that lingering malty aftertaste. Medium body. Average, reminds me of an 80 shilling, just not into it. (6/3/6/3/13) 3.1

2011-11-25. Brown body, small tan head and lace. 3+ Flavour is pleasantly malt forward, notes of caramel in the background, dusty malt accents. 7+ Aroma is similar, dusty malt over sweet malt core. 7+ Smooth average plus palate. 3+ Simple but really nice malt character that hit me at the right time.
