Aroma funky with creamy diacetyl like hint. Hint of vanilla , gooseberry. Fruity backing. Interesting.
Appearance hazed amber with white rocky, lighter top.3+
Flavor and Palate : Creamy front, tad oily on top. Buttery mid with vanilla cask notes. Light carbonation. Lacking some dryness in the finish as it was quiet soft.

Tap at GLB Movember tap takeover at Wvrst. Light yellow pour. The nose is softly fruity and corianderish. A light wheaty aroma and flavour as well. Light bodied and moderately tart. Decent though.

(Sample at Bryden’s, Toronto, June 2012). Poured a cloudy gold colour from what I could see on the patio at night. Aroma was interestingly grape-heavy, not quite wine-like though a little like a muscat dessert wine. Maltiness comes through as well with a citrus tartness. Flavour again has that grape and orange mix of sweet, tart/sour and somewhat malty. Also some herbs and yeasty funk, can’t really notice the salt. Medium bodied, little carbonation. Very interesting, lots of stuff going on and I would like a better experience to refine my opinion.

Draught At Session 99, June 23. Pours a cloudy pale copper-gold with an average size long-lasting frothy white head. Nice aroma is yeasty, fruity and herbal along with sweet malt. Flavour is very fruity, lightly tart, along with yeast, some citrus and a good amount of herbs. Average to medium bodied. Quite pleasant and easy to drink.

[4514-20120617] Tap. Sweetened corn mash aroma. Hazy, orange brown body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Sweet corn mash flavour has a sweet yeasty base. Medium body. Surprisingly creamy and sweet but pretty tasty. (7/4/7/4/15) 3.7

A haze golden gose with a thin faint off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with off notes. In mouth, a lightly doughy malt with oxidized notes, a bit of coriander, unpleasant and lightly spoiled. On tap at Session 99, June 23 2012.

2012-06-17. Murky golden body, nice creamy foamy white head and lace. 3+ Really interesting aroma, fruity sort of grape like character. Interest malt interactions with the fruit. 7+ Flavour is similar, sweet fruity character with a kiss of tangy-sourness around the edges. Mild hints of salt around the edges but I suspect I might not have identified it as such if I didn’t know it was added. Fruity chardonnay character lingers in the finish pleasantly. Very smooth average plus bodied palate with suitable carbonation. Very unique and very interesting. I think I will need to try it again to form a lasting opinion but I quite enjoyed it today. On tap at Brewers Market event as Maverick and Gose, Toronto

Gose: Lackey’s up here, great... oh shit...
Murdoch: Great. He’s probably saying, "Holy shit, it’s Maverick and Gose!"
Gose: Yeah, I’m sure he’s saying that.

On tap at Bryden’s. Look is hazy pale orange not much head. Smell is sour with oranges and grapes. Palate is smooth, medium body, medium carbonation. Taste is excellent, slightly hoppy at first then some sourness and then the chardonnay really comes through. Delicious!

On tap at Brewers Back Yard. Hazy straw pour. Great sweet aroma slightly yeasty, floral (roses), smoked salt, nice light body, mildly sweet with a medium bitter medicinal finish. Complex balance, delicate and refreshing. Nice stuff!
