3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ Amundsen, Oslo. Pours a clear deep deep red body with a great looking creamy and lasting beige head lacing down the glass. Aroma is really fruity, fruit-yeasty like almost all the beers I’ve had from Amundsen. Notes of dried fruits, strawberries, bubblegum and sweet banana. Average carbonation, quite full-bodied and it has a thick, creamy and chewy mouthfeel - just the way I like it. Flavors are really smooth, quite fruity - like in dried fruits - and lightly sweet. The heat from the alcohol is burning quite clearly at first, but the after a while it’s just calming and warming. Not bad!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From tap @ Grünerløkka Mat & Mikroølfestival. Opaque dark brown with ruby edges. Low beige cream head. A nice blend of fruits and soft dark malts in the aroma. Also a discreet whiff of coriander. Big and smooth malt body, nicly balanced by fruits, dark malts and a mild bitterness. Mild spices in the ending. No disturbing alcohol. A lovely beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Amundsen
Dark orange/brown, white head. Smells of wheat, banana, cherries and alcohol. A very abv-massive beer. Full malt body, good sweetness. Thick feel too. Nice hoppy finish. A beer that works alright, but doesn’t convice me totally

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Medium offwhite head. Hazy deep red body. Fruity coriander and banana aroma with mealy coke bubblegum notes. Dry-sweet fruity wild berry and wood taste with herbal coriander notes. Fullish body. Slightly sharp and hot mouthfeel. Dryish alcohol and fruit aftertaste with elegant coriander, wood, and wild berry notes. Buttery finish. Really nice. Much better than it was 1 week ago. (0.3l draft at brewpub.)

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Amundsen. Dark copper toned colour with a medium big creamy head. Aroma is sweet and laden with notes of belgian yeast, toffee, bananas and brown sugar. Flavour is rich and the belgian yeast really comes out. Notes of toffee, bananas, and sugar as well. The alcohol is also prominant, but in a good way and not dominating. Aftertaste is a bit short. This is pure dessert and I pray that Nøgne Ø decides to brew this regularly.
