In short: A basic, toasted, dry-ish and slightly caramelized citrusy/lemony pale ale. Unremarkable, easy to drink, ok
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear orange-golden body topped by a small off-white head
In long: Nose is citrusy and floral hops. Taste is clean, toasted cereals, a bit of caramel. Well hopped with grapfruity hops that also have a strong citric component that adds a lemony acidity to the bitterness. Finish is quite dry which suits this beer nicely. A refreshing pale ale, nothing remarkable but nothing to complain about, and sadly the best beer I had from this brewpub. Nothing special here, just a rating I’m adding to ratebeer just so that some of the people who beermail me can know that I’m ignoring them.

On tap at Amundsen. It poured a pale yellow-brown-orange liquid with a creamy dirty white head. Hops, grass and a light fruity note on the nose. Similar taste with a light bitterness. OK pale ale.

Tap@Brewery Pub. Hoppy pale ale with a fruity taste. Good balance. Could have been more complex if you are looking for a challenge, but perfect if you’re just looking for a refreshing good everyday beer.

50cl draft at Amundsen. Clear golden with a white head. Hoppy and malty aroma with fruit and citrus (grapefruit?) and a hint of spices. Surprisingly citric and bitter and quite refreshing. Medium body. Citric and lightly bitter finish. (2012-06-29)

Light orange and cloudy appearance. Little head that quickly disappears. Hippy, citrus, bitter, and smooth. Well balanced and a medium body. Tried it with Paul in Oslo in 2012.

Draught @ Amundsen Bryggeri. Darker blond coloured beer with some very light carbonation and a small white head. Rather sweet floral hoppy and fruity hinted aroma. Medium palate. Finish is light fruity floral with a shor tsweet bitter and little dry ending. Nice aroma but does not deliver in taste. Rather flat.

On tap at the brewpub. Served at cellar temperature. Orange to amber colour, slightly hazy. Moderate white head. Moderate but nice aroma of fruity hops, hints of pine / spruce. Hoppy flavour, piney / resinous and fruity notes. Good beer.

On tap at the Brewpub. Clear gold beer, tidy white head. Softish dry palate. Fresh. Mild minerals. Decent fresh hops. A little grass and mild citrus and tropical fruits. Nicely balanced. Dry finish with mild bitter linger. Easy drinking and tasty.
