Cask at The Seaforth, Ullapool. It pours mahoganny brown, with a medium white head. The nose is raisin, plum, caramel, wood and leather. The taste is leather, light cocoa, wood, sour grain and raisin, with a pretty dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A decent bitter.

Pours clear copper-brown colour with minimal head. Aroma of sweetish malts and faint fruits. Flavour of malts, some sweet caramel and faint herbal notes.

Rich aroma of dark fruits, mild roast and prominant toffee malt and British style hops.
Smooth texture, medium body, medium-low carbonation.
Rich toffee malts, good roast complexities with some smokiness and coffee elements. Plum and ripe black fruits towards a grassy hop bitterness to finish..
Highly quaffable and enjoyable bitter. Hard to fault.
