Bottle from Hogs Back brewery. Pours murky brown colour with no head. The aroma of malt and of pines, the taste is very sour with a dry finish. Not very good.

Pours clear copper-brown colour with minimal head. Aroma of sweetish malts and faint fruits. Flavour of malts, some sweet caramel and faint herbal notes.

Cask @ The Bon Accord. Medium dark brown colour, clear with good head. Sour grain malt aroma. Fruity fagash malt flavour. Bitter aftertaste. A big tasting bog standard bitter.

Flavour is sour fruits, malts. Some biscuit. A bit watery.

Rich aroma of dark fruits, mild roast and prominant toffee malt and British style hops.
Smooth texture, medium body, medium-low carbonation.
Rich toffee malts, good roast complexities with some smokiness and coffee elements. Plum and ripe black fruits towards a grassy hop bitterness to finish..
Highly quaffable and enjoyable bitter. Hard to fault.

Clear medium to dark brown color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dark toffee, roasted notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily and smooth, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090409]
