Bottle from Hogs Back brewery shop. Pours a light redish colour with a thin white head. Real skunky aroma, the taste is sweet and really dry. It is really undrinkable.

Cask by handpump at Halfway House, Edinburgh (27 Mar 12) - malty aroma, clear copper ale, thin off-white head, very malty, too bitter to be refreshing, prolonged bitter finish and bitter aftertaste

Bottled. A brown beer with a whitish bubbly head. A fruity and hoppy beer. Soapy notes. Good fruity flavours. Good sweet malts too. Pretty nice all round.

Tasted this in the Three Judges in April 2005. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear copper red in colour with a thin white head. Slight smokey roast malt in the short aroma. Thin mouthfeel and poor lacing. Pale malt gives a digestive base with a touch of raisin fruit. Roast malt gives a wood smoke quality in the aftertaste with the dry hop resins. Finish is bitter sweet. An ok session ale but nothing exceptional here.

Bottle. Dark golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hop, caramel. Flavour is fruit, malt, hop, caramel, grain. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium to light dark amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, caramel, nutty, dusty, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110416]

Bottle @ Ulfborg Easter Tasting, 2011. Pours hazy golden with a small creamy white head and lacings. Citrus and bread. Clean.. Pleasant.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a clear, light amber body and a finger-thick off-white head. A fruity aroma with some caramel, bready matls. The flavor is quite dry, pleasantly bitter and with some pale malts. Medium body, dry and pleasantly carbonated. Some bitterness towards the end. Enough fermented to make it quenching, but too low on flavors to make it interesting. 110416

Pours hazy amber with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and grassy hops. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits and hops.

Bottle @ FOneFan. Slightly hazy golden with small off-white head. Flavour is malt, caramel, fruit, bitter and hops.
