On tap at the brewpub (mid-May 2009): Pours a transparent dark copper amber with a creamy lacing light tan head. Aroma of some grapefruity resiny hops and sweet caramel maltiness. Starts with good fullness and rich sweet caramel with an assertive resiny citrus hop balance before a crisp, bittersweet finish. A pretty good imperial red.
