A really tasty amber with some sweet caramel maltiness, with hints of toffee and brown sugar. Some nice dry hopped bitterness comes through in the finish.

On tap at the brewpub showing up a deep copper color with a thin white head Nose of roasted malts and floral and pine hops/. Medium body and smooth clean mouthfeel. Flavor is a good balance of roasted malts and hops with a touch of nuttiness. Finish is lightly dry and bitter. Very nice for the style.

Fairly cloudy and murky with minimal head. Strong deep orange hues with amber highlights. Aroma is some caramel and catty citrus hop notes. Tastes of medium caramel, slight roast, a nut-like flavor and a very prominent citrus finish; a tad acrid with fairly strong fruity esters.

Ibrew2or3 (4914) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAY 1, 2010
On tap at the brewpub/restaurant pouring up deep copper with thin white head standing around the rim in stark contrast to the dark bodied liquid. The aroma seems to have roasted malts mixing with pine hops in less than moderate quantities. The taste has some roastiness and mild to moderate pine hops. Into the finish a thin layer roast enhanced dryness is met by growing pine like hop bitterness. It doesn’t get all that roasty or all that bitter but adds interest with a drying and refreshing mouthfeel.

This amber pours amber in color. Sweet malt nose is followed by light and watery flavor of the same kind.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear copper with a lacy white head. A somewhat vacant nose, with just a little caramel and fruit. Medium body, minimal carbonation. It makes up for it in the flavor which is loaded with sweet caramel, nuts and bread. Semi-dry finish with a touch of citrus. Amber is one of the blah styles for me, so it’s nice to see someone build a good one/

Amber red colour with minimal head. Light caramel malt aroma that carries into the flvour. Slight hop and citrus flavour come in late but don’t save the beer from the overall sweetness.

Cloudy amber with a dense head. Kind of dusty, toasty aroma with caramelly accents. Full body. The flavour is caramelly and a bit breadcrusty.
