Commercial Description:
Great aroma from the use of imported Maris Otter malt with a warm copper color from the addition of 80L Crystal malt. Bittered with Simcoe hops and finished with Fuggles for a traditional English character.

Draught @ Rockfish Grill. Pours a clear amber color with a samll off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Roasted malty caramel flavor with some earthy hints. Has a malty bitter hoppy finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear amber with a creamy, lacy white head. Light body and carbonation. I found the taste to be a bit vacant, which is sort of an anomaly, compared to the other offering from this brewer. Earth and a touch of butterscotch on the finish.

Copper body with mid sized off white head. Aroma was grassy with some pine and citrus. Flavour is hoppy upfront with a touch of earth malts. Finishes dry and with a little bitter bite.

Draft at the brewpub. Cloudy dark amber with a thin white film. Very light nose, maybe some biscuit there. Tingly carb, medium body. Toasty, leafy (dry) mid-palate, with a nice resinous hop cling of a finish.
