Commercial Description:
Modeled after a classic "mild" ale, low hopping and alcohol make this an easy drinking beer.

Aromas of English and caramel malts with light hops. Pours a chill hazy copper. Flavors of caramel malts, English malts and hops in the finish. Notes say not a lot going on.

on tap-pours a thin off white head and copper/red color. Aroma is faint medium malt – chocolate, nutty. Taste is medium/dark malt-caramel, nutty, secondary citrus hops. Medium body. OK/mild carbonation.

Red-maroon w. fading head. Little aroma. Bland malt body and little flavor character.

Cask at the brewpub. Cloudy dark reddish amber, rich head. Aroma of mango and grapefruit. Fairly sweet with soft mouthfeel. There’s some crystal malt character, but it does not disturb. There are also plenty of exotic fruits before a finish with medium bitterness. I really like this beer!

On tap at the brewery. Clear deep amber colour. Sweet, caramelly aroma. Very sweet and toffeeish. Flavour is quite sweet and soft. Lightly hopped, low bitterness, lingering candyish malts. Body comes across a bit thin. Doesn’t really ever add up to the sum of its parts.
