Flavors of caramel malts, English malts and hops in the finish. Notes say not a lot going on. jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Nov 2, 2007 on tap-pours a thin off white head and copper/red color. Aroma is faint medium malt – chocolate, nutty. Taste is medium/dark malt-caramel, nutty, secondary citrus hops. Medium body. OK/mild carbonation. BillKismet (1443), Seattle, Washington, USA Oct 8, 2006 Red-maroon w. fading head. Little aroma. Bland malt body and little flavor character. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 22, 2006 Updated: Mar 31, 2006Cask at the brewpub. Cloudy dark reddish amber, rich head. Aroma of mango and grapefruit. Fairly sweet with soft mouthfeel. There’s some crystal malt character, but it does not disturb. There are also plenty of exotic fruits before a finish with medium bitterness. I really like this beer! JoeMcPhee (3807), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Nov 21, 2005 On tap at the brewery. Clear deep amber colour. Sweet, caramelly aroma. Very sweet and toffeeish. Flavour is quite sweet and soft. Lightly hopped, low bitterness, lingering candyish malts. Body comes across a bit thin. Doesn’t really ever add up to the sum of its parts.
