On tap numerous times at The Collins Pub in Seattle, June 2008. Hazy unfiltered orange with an off-white head. Very fresh, bright hop nose - like sniffing fresh centennial hop pellets. Simple pale malt base with a bit of sweetness from perhaps a touch of munich malt. Next, is a blast of bright, grapefruit and pine hop juiciness. Medium bodied, but not at all thin with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. An ace session IPA. This was not a 4.8% abv beer - that has to be updated.

Mode: Draft
Source: Brewpub
Appearance: cloudy orange, fine off white head, lots of lace
Aroma: sweet crystal malt aroma with an abundance of citrus hops
Body: creamy body
Flavor: solid hop flavor from beginning to finish, sweet crystal malt provides a good delivery system for the hops, bitterness comes in to balance but stays out of the way of the hop flavor before leaving a long bitter finish

Aroma of hops, grapefruit, tropical fruit, pine, and light citrus. Poured orange in color with a small, off-white/light tan head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Ok lacing. Flavor is medium bitter. Tastes of hops, pine, grapefruit, and some citrus. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Hoppy, pine, grapefruit, and slight resin finish is dry.

Pours medium orange with a smallish white head. Smells fairly sweet, and there’s definitely a good malt contingent in here, but it has a nice balance. Good all-around IPA, and very sessionable.

Draft at Fiddler’s.

Wow. I just saw that this one comes under 5% ABV. Amazing, because there is no sacrifice in flavor intensity or richness. Deep copper pour, tons of pine resin in the (very fresh) aroma. Decent malt backing, but it’s all about the hops. Reminds me of very fresh Snoqualmie Wildcat, though I confess it’s been a year or two since I have had that one so I may be off here. Very nice beer with an extra bonus for being so sessionable.

Nice beer. Balanced, hoppy, nothing too crazy going on. Very drinkable ipa. Had on tap at Hudson Public House in Seattle. Citrus, pine, maltiness, Yakima hops are a definate plus.

By far the best in the sampler. Floral hops and citrus on this orange gold pour. Floral, bittering flavor. Bitter finish but it doesn’t last since it gets watered down.
