Dry, bitter, full bodied and creamy. Pronounced hop bitterness gives this brew a nice crispness. Middle has a nice chocolate aspect and it finishes dry and bitter and lingers bitterness on t he tongue. Excellent stout.

Sample at Über Tavern. Brownish-black color with a medium thick tan head that dissipates gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt and coffee. Light-bodied with a roasty character and flavors of malt, mild coffee and a touch of hope. The finish is semi-sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

From growler in Seattle. Nice dark-black brown, foamy tan head. Roasty coffee stout with standard oatmeal aroma. Pretty typical and archetypal oatmeal stout. Slightly too sweet, under fermented. But pretty solid

Black pour, nice tan head. Sweet nose. Chocolate, some brown sugar. Silky smooth, but the flavor isn’t as robust as I’d like. This one would do well on nitro. Just a little weak.

Black color with tan foam. Earthy dark roasted grain, chocolate, mild smoke aromas. medium bodied. Medium roast malt, light roast coffee, mild tobacco flavors--good
