On tap at the brewpub/restaurant pouring up amber with copper edges and light tan head. The aroma seems pretty sweet with sugary malts and a sense of roastiness. The taste begins sort of neutral and sweet and then becomes progressively raostier to midway attaining only a tepid level of roastiness. The roasted malts are thinly rimmed by sweet nuttiness.
