On tap at the brewery it is a nice happy pour hat is very printable, fearful but not overwhelming

This is so not a pale ale to me. Malty and strong with some strange off flavors. Poured a dark brown with a sweet aroma.

A: The pour on this beer is a light amber color with a finger of white head. S: Smells English. Toffee and bread with a light floral hop character. There is very little citrus, just a bit of orange peel, some grass, and light pine. Some toast is also there. A bit bland, however. T: Slightly sweet with a decent percentage of the flavor consisting of bread. There is a mild hop bitterness as well as some grass and floral notes with a light citrus peel flavor. A touch of caramel sweetness wraps things up. M: I’d call the body and carbonation both medium. O: Trapped between and English Pale Ale and an American Pale Ale, but not doing either very well.
