500ml bottle. Light straw colour with a small head. Very mild aroma with not much in it. Flavours of honey, citrus, perhaps a little apple, but all these are pretty mild. Doesn’t blow you away to begin but then the hops kick in and they give a robust and satisfyingly bitter satisfying finish. Low to moderate carbonation, pretty smooth. A good session pale ale, I think.

Cask by hand-pump at State Bar, Glasgow - clear pale golden, thin white head, moderate malt and hop aroma, intermittent lacing, sweet, biscuit, nicely balanced by some fruity hops, refreshing, easy to drink

On cask at Cloisters Appearance -golden with a decent heas and a slight haze. Nose - floral and citrus. Taste - more lemon with some custard. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry refreshing finish. Overall - a good example of a golden ale.

Bottle 330ml ( AbM) Hazy orange color, small off-white head, lace. Aroma has citrus, watermelon, fruity yeastyness. Light-bodied. Flavor has evident citrus from Citra. A bit messy as beer has quite a lot of yeast. Watery and a bit too simple overall.

Gold colour. Aroma is mostly biscuity. Sweetish palate, with a mellow earthy finish. Slightly creamy body.

Stern golden, soft white head. Terse light gummy lime is about all the nose, weird cheap oakiness as it warmed up. Decent enough first few tears, watery malt and trap door hop. Light, cheap mayo salad creamy finish. Compromising linger - it’s inoffensiveness saves things.
