Yes this was a bit chaos! A big bit less next Christmas, then we are talking.
Deep nutty color with a fine off white head. Nice lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Quite dry in a way. A chaotic mess off Christmas spices in the flavor.
[Bottle from Varnaveien in Moss, Norway]

Cask at Euston tap. Copper reddy brown coloured pour with a lasting cream coloured head. Aroma is sweet liquorice, dark malts, nutty. Flavour is moderate sweet, star anise. Liquorice, spices, toasted nutty grains, dryed bark, woody. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, slightly creamy. A bit heavy handed with the spices, lingering bitter liquorice.
