4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
On draught, Durham Beer Festival 2012. Very cloudy, however it is worth noting that most of the beers I tried at this festival had clarity issues,
Excellent citrus aroma and flavour, does exactly what it says on the tin.
Long lasting aftertase of lemon and bitter apple. A seasoned beer enthusiast drinks with thier mouth and nose, not their eyes. Full marks, barring the appearance.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330 ml bottle.
Pours a pale yellow colour with a large foamy head. Aroma of citrus, herbs and some wooden notes. Flavour of grainy malts, citrusy bitterness, wooden notes and almost nonexistent fruitiness. Light bodied, foamy mouthfeel and a citrusy harsh finish. Hard carbonation. Harsh and straightforward.

Cask at The Lyric. Clear golden pour with a small, firm white head leaving nice lacing. Nose is very sweet and citric with tangy lemon and light bread. Taste is nutty with lots if lemon rind and grapefruit with an off milky like finish. Surprisingly works ok. Creamy palate and great flavour for a 4% brew. Nice

Keg at The Brigantes Bar, York. Carbonated gold with white head. This seemed like a bright beer in character with a fizzed note. Some wet cardboard, quite sweet then a pineapple fruitiness rather than Citra grapefruit. Odd but ok.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draught. Hazy deep amber with a small white head. Simple hoppy, citric aroma. Flavour is light on malt, plenty of grapefruit, some nectarine, a touch of cereal and grass and a late, lasting bitter finish. Decent and very sessionable, even if there are better Citra beers out there (see Oakham and Kernel).

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at Birmingham Beer Bash. Very good golden UK hop provider. In context, this was very much a weaker, sessionable beer at BBB, but was good nonetheless. Very nice.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not nearly enough hops for my liking. But maybe itís the base beer that was the problem. Had at BBB. Not enough POW!
