33cl bottle. Bb 25.05.14. Deep mahogany, thick creamy head. Pine, wood, hops, caramel, massive aroma, heavy. Flavor has pine, wood, herbs, earthy notes. Bitter, long hoppy finish with pineapples coming through. Some of the promised tropical fruityness gone. Musty, chewy stuff. Not bad though.

Deep amber color, medium-sized steady beige head, some lace. Resiny-yeasty aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish caramalt and tropical fruity flavor with some pine bitterness. Tasty although quite typical new wave amber ale.

330 ml bottle. BB 25/05/14. From alesbymail.co.uk.
Hazy dark brownish red colour with a small off-white head. Herbal and resiny hops, toothpaste and sweetish malt in the aroma. Herbal and floral hops, mild bitterness and sweetish malt in the flavour. I’m not huge fan of the Amber Ales and this is quite typical example of that breed.

Taste of sweet fruity caramel malts, red berries, mango, sweet fruits, touch of toasted malts
Palate - soft carb, medium body, oily creamy texture, sweet malty, good mouthfeel. Finish of sweet fruity malts, some lingering bitter zest
Overall - Decent big fruity amber ale

Bottle Rehills Newcastle. Pours a fine, foaming red, lovely pillowy head. Deep amber colour, grassy and bready aroma with a very faint yeast background. Big biscuit and berries taste, lovely soft palate, with a dry finish, late blackcurrant, with a slightly medicinal twist right at the end. Great stuff.
