Cask at the Richmond beer festival. Amber, no head. Bitter sweet start turns to a very bitter hoppy finish. Plenty of caramel and quite smooth before a dry finish. Pretty good.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy amber pour with quite big off white head, sweet malt aroma, not much hop going on for an IPA from the South Pacific hoped for more but left disappointed I did get a slight hint of pineapple.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. This is a lovely looking beer. Hazy, reddy amber with a thin, but lasting head. Aroma of ripe mandarin, some mango too. Bittersweet taste not unlike an old fashioned English marmalade. Enjoyed this a lot.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
August 18, 2013 - handpull cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen (Pimlico). Clear refractive amber-gold with an average rocky off-white head. Aroma is gluten, mineral tang, floral bitterness - taste follows, a little harsh, the mineral (gypsum?) really pushes through a lot, it seems a little unmeshed really ....average body, astringent and dry, not much carbonation, a fairly long minerally finish - don’t get me wrong, there was a lot going on in this brew , it just didn’t quite work for me.
