Nästan helt svart öl med beige lätt, gräddigt, skum. Doften är rostad. Kaffe och malt. I smaken finns även viss sötma och choklad även om rostat kaffe spelar huvudrollen.

McNeillR (1143) - SCOTLAND - MAR 15, 2014
Inky black with a rich lasting, light foamy tan head. Stern roasted neat choc nose - oaty edge as it warms. Smooth/silky mouthfeel with a backwash of bitterness. Earthy roast, waxy coffee and stewy turfed compost middle. Finish of kola nut and a strained coffee linger but decent swing of drink-ability throughout.

Cask, Friends Of Ham, Leeds

cola brown with thin tan head. rich fruity, slightly smokey coffee and cocoa on nose. Spritzy carbontion. Robust meaty umammi coffee, full bodied, dry lightly smokey notes, touch of bacon, sweet middle section and a dry roasty slightly chalky finish. Excellent, if anything lacking a bit of body for a hefty abv
