2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml bottle - thanks martjoobolt!
Thin and really beany aroma. Dark, brief head. Slightly ashy palate, but also more beans in the taste. Watery mouthfeel. Dryish cocoa powder feel left on the tongue. OK, does have some fairly pleasantly bitter bite and tingle in the finish. Winner of "most overhyped commercial description of the evening".

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at The King Street Brew House, Bristol. Black with cream head. Served very cold. There is a CO2 element to this, wet cardboard initially, when the whole thing has warmed up a little there is a roasty, chocolate, coffee type flavour. Good depth. Good beer.
