2/3rds Keg pint in Harrys bar Newcastle, while waiting for a bus. Served cold, whereas cool would have been better. Pitch black with a light tan head. Treacle toffee and coffee aroma. The same flavours, complimented by rich vanilla and a little burnt sugar. Bitter-sweet finish. Rather delicious, I lingered and let two buses go past.

Tap @ HomoSibaris, Barcelona, 19/06/15. Pours pretty much black with a large-bubbled, beige head. Aroma is chocolate, roast, some smoke. Taste is some roast, more chocolate, coffee. Not much in the way of carbonation.

On tap at Pivni. Pour is deep brown/black with a small tan head. Aroma and flavor of brown sugar, molasses, slight smoke, coffee, and a bit of hop resin. Finish is sweet and a bit dry. Good.

Bottle picked up at Glug, Newcastle, consumed at home Saturday 27th December 2014. This lay almost forgotten amongst my little horde. Pours black with a minimal tan head. Some chocolate and coffee intermingling and then a long roasty but smooth finish completes the picture. Good stout. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Bottle. Black beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is bitter with some sweetness, and the flavour is reasonably roasted and bitter with a degree of sweetness. Overall a good stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask: half-pint, in the Euston Tap on 12th Sep 2014. Dark pour, black actually, with a poor excuse for a head. Malty, milk chocolate and creamy with a drying finish. Decent and my last beer of a heavy day.
