BlackHaddock (4978) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2015
Gravity poured cask half-pint on 26th Aug 2015 at the Peterborough Beer Festival. A golden amber beer with a weak white head. Hoppy aroma, piny, grassy, and citrus notes. The taste, like the aroma, is hop forward, with the citrus notes becoming a full concerto. The finish however has a mild malt feel against the hop bitterness.

Golden with medium head. Not really fruity aroma. More socks, not fresh hops. Lingering bitter aftertaste.

Cask at Abbotsford. Old note. Pours clear golden. Nose is citrus, malts, grass. Tastes similar, bitterish. Maybe not in the best condition.

Mortlach (1312) - Rome, ITALY - JUN 21, 2015
330ml bottle @Mad for Beer (Rome). Pours deep golden with a medium head. Aroma of graprefruit, citrus and grass, socks, not fresh. Flavour is quite balanced with a medium bitter end, boring and a bit confused. Medium to light body, medium carbonation. It was in bad condition.

Cask at the Finborough Arms, Golden brown with a lasting coarse head, aromas of pine and lemon, nice balance of juicy malt and dry fruity bitterness.

StueyD (1467) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2015
A golden amber coloured beer with a thick white head. A potent hoppy aroma, piney, grassy, and loads of pithy grapefruit, orange and lime fruits. Dry mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma, a huge hop flavour, piney, grassy and woody, then a mouth puckering bitter citrus fruit flavour, again, grapefruit, orange and lime. The finish does have a certain smoother malt element to it that tempers the bitterness.

Bottle from Beer52. Pours Copper-orange coloured, slightly hazy with a single finger creamy off white head. Aroma of light spice, orange, yeasty (not the nicest smell). Initial taste of orange and lemon, then some biscuit, grass and a wee bit of spice. Loads of bitterness. Nice!

At the Tap in York. A really nice, hoppy IPA from a very good brewery. Great stuff..
