Hops are on show for our 5% American pale ale. A pale malt base provides the springboard for sumptuous notes of lemon, orange, gooseberry and passion fruit and a crisp, bitter bite.

A golden amber coloured beer with a thick white head. A potent hoppy aroma, piney, grassy, and loads of pithy grapefruit, orange and lime fruits. Dry mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma, a huge hop flavour, piney, grassy and woody, then a mouth puckering bitter citrus fruit flavour, again, grapefruit, orange and lime. The finish does have a certain smoother malt element to it that tempers the bitterness.

Bottle from Beer52. Pours Copper-orange coloured, slightly hazy with a single finger creamy off white head. Aroma of light spice, orange, yeasty (not the nicest smell). Initial taste of orange and lemon, then some biscuit, grass and a wee bit of spice. Loads of bitterness. Nice!

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden on 5th February 2015. Hazy copper with thin white foam and scant lacing. Bitter, spicy, tangy aroma. Rich grassy bitterness in-mouth with savoury touch. Peppery notes in finish which is fruity, spicy and relatively short. Zingy mouthfeel and light body.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Unfiltered. Hazy pale amber with a smooth head. Hopped with a decent amount of fruit flavour in both nose and taste and a fairly smooth texture too.

Bottle. Vibrant cloudy golden beer with a very strong frothy white head. The aroma is well hopped whilst the flavour is extremely bitter and hopped with a long dry finish. Overall a nice strongly hopped beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From cask, one-third pint at Kings Arms in Bethnal Green. Filmy white head to an unclear apricot coloured body. Lemony hops to the nose, mid-dry. Smooth taste of peach, apricot, and juicy malts. Bittersweet finish, well rounded. Fine bodied. Good drinking this one (London 26.09.2014).

Pint at the Three Tuns Gateshead. Hazy gold with a dense white head. Grapefruit and butterscotch aroma. Similar flavour, with additional resinous hop greenery, and tea bitterness. Sharp refreshing and rather lovely
