Bottle Rehills, Newcastle. Superb big aroma of grapefruit and gooseberry, but its the flavour that really makes this beer. Stunning, sharp bitterness, with loads of marmalade orange flavours, ther’s even some raaspberry (I think) lurking in the background. Great dry finish that lasts forever and leaves the throat tingling. Great beer.

a very well made pale ale, very drinkable. Nice balance of malt and hop with nice fruity after taste. Was expecting a little bit more of an attack on the senses, so slightly disappointed, well made never the less, and well worth a try.

Bottle @home shared by me. Hazy peach colour with a small off-white head. Smells fruity, peach, apricot, slightly hoppy, fresh. Tastes sweet, hops, bitter, fresh, fruity.. Not too extreme. Nice balance. Thin to medium body, fairly fizzy and crisp carbo.

Cask conditioned at The Harp, Charing Cross, London. Clouded amber with white head. This is vigorously hoppy from the start, drying, citric, tropical fruit and grapefruit notes alongside each other. Challenging but quite luscious when you are into it. Great.
