750ml bottle. Dark brown color, with a pinkish beige head. Nose: smokey, roasted, cherries, (wild?) yeast ver much present. bit sugarish, hint of sourishness. Taste gives brown chocolate, speculoos, some mocha. Lacks a bit of power though. carbonated and a gentle finish (which I did not expect). To me, it feels that the porter and the ’kriek’ just do not mix up together. Lacks a bit of punch from the ’kriek’ and the smoothness of the porter. Nevertheless a good effort, like this. Nice experiment.

Draft to taster at Ei8ht Ball from notes. Pours a hazy amber brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have chocolate, tart fruit, raisins, some cherry, mild roasted malt, the malty/sour thing is interesting enough.

Aroma: Smelling of bread, cherries, chocolate and vinegar.
Appearance: A foggy brown-red colored beer. A small pink head with some lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting sour red fruits, vinegar and bitter cherry peel.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, a sticky texture. A medium body with a dry finish.
Overall: Much more kriek than porter now, just a faint smell of chocolate.
Note: Bottle 750 ml at home. Reviewed 2015-08-11.

At Camping Ratebeers. Reddish brown colour, pink head. Aroma of cherries, some light spices, leather, a bit weird but now I see this is a porter. Flavour is medium sweet, cherries, some marzipan, hint of roasted malts, some chocolate, tart finish. Light to medium bodied.

Very good, thick, pinkish cream-coloured head, over very deep brownish ruby beer. Clear sour cherries nose, bit of chocolate, Mon Chéri à souhait. Bitterish, cacao powder, green leaves and cherries, red fruit, of course. Chocolate growing with time. Quite well-bodied, creamy slickness, relieved by the lively carbonation. A good, rare Be collab brew with a classical craft beer result.
