COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A quaffable, well-balanced red ale with character. Its malty complexity and coppery color come from a combination of two caramel malts, pale malt, and a hint of maple syrup.

Bottle. A slightly hazy amber colored beer with a dense, light beige to off-white head leaving some lacings. The aroma is caramel-ish and lightly bready and nutty, with a nice piney and citrus peel-ish hoppyness. Itís full-bodied and lightly warming, with a nice carbonation level. The flavor is quite bitter, the hops overpowering the malty sweetness. Pine cones, hazelnut, some bread and caramel too. Lasting bitter finish with a lot of maltyness but itís far from cloying. Sure a solid one, tasteful too. 140617
